Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you (the parent or guardian) and Doodloo. By downloading, creating an account, or using Doodloo, you agree to them. Please read the subscription section carefully. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.
1. Who may use Doodloo & parental responsibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child who uses the app. By creating an account you confirm this, and you agree to:
- supervise your child's use of the app appropriately;
- set usage limits suitable for your child's age and needs;
- keep your account credentials secure and not share them;
- comply with all applicable laws regarding children's online privacy.
Doodloo is a tool to support learning and play, not a replacement for parental judgement or supervision.
2. Your account & your licence
Doodloo ("the app") is a kids' AI companion app provided by Aayush Gelal ("we", "us"). We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Doodloo for your family's personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the terms of the app store you installed from (the Apple App Store or Google Play). On Apple devices, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA) also applies to this app.
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or that we reasonably believe are being misused.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to allow anyone to:
- use the app for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose;
- attempt to bypass or disable usage limits, safety features, content filters, or subscription controls;
- reverse engineer, decompile, copy, resell, or commercially exploit the app or its content;
- use automated systems to access the app, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts;
- misrepresent your identity or your relationship to a child;
- upload content that infringes others' rights or that is illegal or harmful;
- use the app to try to generate content that is unsafe or inappropriate for children.
4. AI-generated content
Doodloo uses artificial intelligence to generate answers, lessons, and images. AI output can sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected. It is created automatically and provided for education and entertainment only — it is not professional advice. You are responsible for how generated content is used.
5. Safety & moderation
We apply multiple layers of safety instructions and content filtering to keep the experience age-appropriate, and we may review content that is flagged for safety purposes. However, no automated system is perfect, so active parental supervision is essential. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our safety policies or that put children at risk.
6. Subscriptions & billing
Some features of Doodloo require a paid subscription (Doodloo Premium or Doodloo Max). The following terms apply:
- Plans & price. Subscriptions are offered on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly). The exact plan, duration, and price are shown in the app on the purchase screen, in your local currency, before you confirm. Plans and pricing may change over time, with reasonable notice before a change affects existing subscribers. The current price is always shown before you subscribe, and a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
- Payment. Purchases are processed by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) using your store account. Payment is charged upon confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. The subscription automatically renews at the then-current price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access to premium features until the end of the paid period, and no partial refund is given for unused time.
- Free / limited tier. We may offer a free tier with limited usage (for example, a limited number of images, voice minutes, or messages). Included features and limits may change over time.
- Fair use. Paid allowances are intended for ordinary personal and family use. We may apply reasonable limits to prevent automated, commercial, or abusive use that degrades the service for others, and may suspend accounts engaged in systematic abuse.
7. Refunds
Payments are non-refundable, and we do not offer refunds for any unused portion of a subscription. Purchases and subscriptions are sold and billed by the app store, so any refund is entirely at the store's discretion and is handled by the store, not by us — for Apple, visit reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play, use the Play Store's order history. Nothing here removes any refund right you may have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country.
8. Intellectual property & your content
Doodloo and its logos, mascot, design, and software are owned by us and protected by law. Subject to applicable law, anything your child creates in the app (drawings, prompts, saved images) is yours to keep and use for personal purposes. We don't claim ownership of it and we don't use it to train AI models. You grant us a limited licence to use that content only to provide, operate, and maintain the app, to run safety and content-moderation systems, and to comply with legal obligations. See the Privacy Policy for how that content is handled.
9. Disclaimer & liability
Doodloo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI content will be accurate or suitable for every situation, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, a nominal amount). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the app.
11. Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, compromise the safety of children using the app, or fail to pay subscription fees. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases, and we delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitation of liability) will survive.
12. Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves; the "last updated" date will change, and where appropriate we'll notify you in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Kathmandu, Nepal will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, except where the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings locally.

Because Doodloo is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, each store's terms — including Apple's Standard Licensed Application EULA — govern your licence and your purchases except where these terms add detail.
