What is Doodloo?
Doodloo is a safe, ad-free AI companion made for children and controlled by a parent. Kids can talk by voice with friendly character friends, ask questions, make magic pictures, turn their drawings into real images, and work through age-appropriate courses and lessons.
How does Doodloo keep my child safe?
Doodloo uses layered safety instructions and content filtering to keep responses age-appropriate. A parent sets up and controls the account, there's no open social network or chat with strangers, and voice audio is never stored. Parents can review activity and set usage limits. No automated system is perfect, so parental supervision is always encouraged.
What platforms is Doodloo available on?
Doodloo is available as an iOS app (iPhone and iPad) and an Android app.
How much does Doodloo cost?
Doodloo has a free tier with limited usage, plus Premium and Max subscriptions available as auto-renewing monthly or yearly plans. Higher tiers include more voice minutes and pictures each week. Current prices are always shown in the app, in your local currency, before you subscribe.
Can I set up more than one child?
Yes. One plan covers up to four child profiles, each personalised to that child's age and interests.
What is real-time voice chat?
Doodloo features voice conversations powered by Google Gemini, where children can speak naturally with their AI friend and get a reply in real time — like chatting with a friendly, knowledgeable companion. The audio is transcribed to text to generate a reply and is never stored.
Can Doodloo see my child?
Only if your child chooses to show a photo to ask a question about it — the camera is used just for that photo. Doodloo has no always-on or live video feature, and camera and photo access can be turned off any time in your device settings.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime in your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep premium features until then.
Is my child's data private?
Yes. Doodloo is COPPA compliant and takes children's privacy seriously. We don't sell or share personal data or show ads, voice audio is never stored, and conversations and images auto-delete on a schedule. You can permanently delete a child profile — or your entire account and all its data — from within the app at any time. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.
